Tyler Burba is a musician, poet, teacher and
philosophy student. As a musician he performs in
Visit, a somewhat solo affair consisting of sad
country and western folk ballads, which released an
eponymous album in 2006 and plans to release it's
second, "Think God," in 2008; Snowboots, a psychedelic
folk-rock band in collaboration with Carlton DeWoody,
is currently recording its debut album, entitled
"greatest hits;" and Artic Circle which was recently
featured in the music festival, MiniConcerts in back
Alleys. He has collaborated with poets Anne Waldman,
Akilah Oliver, and Reed Bye in performance and
recording. During the school year, he teaches English
at a public middle school in Harlem. He spends his
summers in Switzerland at the European Graduate
School, where he is working on his PhD in Media and

Naropa alumni and Long Island University M.F.A.
candidate, Gary Parrish is the co-curator of the
Bowery Broadside Reading Series. He is the 2006 Pedro
Pietri Memorial Prize recipient, awarded by The Bowery
Arts and Sciences, LTD. Gary’s poetry and commentary
can be found in Pinstripe Fedora, Trans-Mountain
Poetry, The American Drivel Review, Four-Quarter
Review, and Bombay Gin. He is also a co-founder and
editor of Farfalla, McMillan, and Parrish Press. New
work is forthcoming from Downtown Brooklyn and Puppy
Flowers. Gary currently lives in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.

The artist George Schneeman

Mr. Schneeman is a long time resident of New York and
whose paintings have accompanied poets Bill Berkson,
Ted Berrigan, Michael Brownstein, Tom Clark, Edwin
Denby, Larry Fagin, Dick Gallup, Allen Ginsberg, Ted
Greenwald, Steve Katz, Lewis MacAdams, Alice Notley,
Ron Padgett, Harris Schiff, Peter Schjeldahl, Tom
Veitch, Anne Waldman, Lewis Warsh, and many others.
